7 Things Women need to hear often

This life is hard and we need an encouraging word every now and then. So here are 7 ways we can encourage the woman in our life.
   1)      You are beautiful
To many magazines, TV shows and commercials tell us women that we are not beautiful till we have that size 0 waist, have no blemishes, and dress immodestly. So tell us women that we are beautiful because we need it.

1 Peter 3:3-4 “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”

   2)      You are enough
This one goes along with the last one. When we hear your ugly we also hear your not wanted, you’re not accepted here, you’re not good enough. So do your best to lift your sisters in Christ up with things like, you did a great job, keep up the good work, your amazing.

I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

   3)      You are Loved
We all need love, and some women do not feel loved. Whether by an indent that happened in their past or from a relationship they are in now.  I don’t feel like I have to explain to you all that everyone deserves to feel loved. We should all show love to one another and tell each other often.

Jeremiah 31:3 “the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”

1 John 4:10 “In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

   4)      you are valuable
Every person on earth is valuable so tell them what they mean to you, we all need to know after all we are not mind readers.

Psalm 139:13-16 “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them”

   5)      You are smart
“you is kind you is smart you is important”-the help. Everyone has something they are good at, never let anyone tell you anything different. In fact God has given each and every one of us a gift to build the kingdom of God with.

1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms”

1 Corinthians 7:7 “I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.”

   6)      You are unique
There is no one else on earth that is like you, and being different is not a bad thing. Each of us has a purpose on this earth and that purpose is found in God. God has a plain for your life.

Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;  your works are wonderful,  I know that full well.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

   7)      You are worth dying for
Yes you! You are worth dying for; in fact the creator of the universe already has dyed for you.

Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Romans 3:2 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Ephesians 2:8 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I(Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

There is no I in love

There is no I in love
The world tells us that love is a chemical reaction between two people, but what happens when there is only a reaction on one side or when the chemical reaction goes away are we still in love. Could love be more than a feeling? I say yes.
-          If this is what love is I don’t want to love.
If love is just a chemical reaction then, then why do people stay together through hard times? Is there a chemical reaction then?
A friend of mine shared a song with me the other day, its about someone asking his parents what is love? His parents are getting a divorce he asks is love giving up because if it is he doesn't know what love is.
Nevershoutnever - WHAT IS LOVE?
And what is love?
What is love?
Love-e-e-e-e
See, I don't know anymore;
I used to look up to that love.
-          The author of love. God is love
The bible is God’s word and in 1 John 4:8 it says “God is love” so what better why to discover what love is than to read a book by the one who is love.

1 Corinthians 13 4-7 (The Message) “If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.”

(Normally I will not use the message as a translation because it is more of a paraphrase but in this case I feel like it is written in a beautiful way and gets my point across more clearly)

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
New International Version (NIV)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love
Love is Patient……. even when that person won’t shut up. Even when your brother still drinks right out of the milk carton, even when this is the 100th time you told your kids to clean their room and it’s still not done.
Love is kind…….. to your mother and father, to that kid who sits alone at lunch, to the old man on the side of the street begging for food.
Love does not envy…….. Your neighbors car, your friends cloths, your brothers family.
Love does not boast…….. About your grades, your promotion, your child’s achievements
Love is not Proud………. You’re not better than that person in jail, the person with no job, or the person who struggles through school.
Love does not dishonor others……. Even when they make us mad, don’t do what we want, or hurt us.
Love is not self-seeking……. It looks to serve your wife/husband, puts your child’s needs before your own, giving of yourself to make someone else happy.
Love is not easily angered……. At your boss, your friend who keeps on rubbing that win in your face, your wife who keeps on nagging, your husband who won’t listen.
Love does not keep record of wrong……. Of all the time you were hurt, of the times you were wronged.
Love does not delight in evil……. Even if you don’t like that person, even when they deserve it.
Love rejoices with the truth…….. even if it hurts
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

-Love is a sacrifice

Jesus died on the cross so that we can have life and have it to the fullest. And this was no easy death either, he was wiped till his skin was falling off, a crown of thorns was placed on his head, he was nailed to the cross and hung there, they broke his legs and stabbed him in the side. And he did that after we spat in his face and told him how much we hate him. If that doesn't speak volumes to you I don’t know what will.
Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for us, and for that we should be eternally grateful.  The bible tell us to be imitators of God Ephesians 5:1-2 “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.  And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
So let my life be the proof,
The proof of Your love
Let my love look like You and what You're made of
How You lived, how You died
Love is sacrifice
So let my life be the proof,
The proof of Your love
FOR KING & COUNTRY-The Proof Of Your Love
